This Page contains Links to other websites nominated as being appropriate (or just downright humorous) by the membership and Committee. We hope you will find them useful - but remember where you found them and please come back!
N.B. No commercial endorsement or favour is implied by the presence or absence of any link below.
We are always open to suggestions for additions to this page - if you feel the site would benefit from another link please send your suggestion to . We are, of course, especially interested in reciprocal links to mutual benefit with other bands.
The Beeston & District Pipe Band is not responsible for the content of any external website linked to from our own site. Should anyone feel a particular link (or its content) is inappropriate please do not hesitate to get in touch with us to inform us of your concern.
The band is now registered with easyfundraising.org.uk as a means of providing a small but steady income flow from members, friends and supporters. They provide a FREE service where you can shop with your favourite online stores and at no extra cost raise funds for any charity, good cause or group you choose to support. You still shop directly with each retailer as you would normally, but simply by using the links from the easyfundraising site first, each purchase you make will generate a cashback donation to the cause you wish to support. For example, spend £25 with WH Smith and 3.5% will be donated. You will have raised £0.88, at no extra cost to your purchase. Make any purchase from Amazon and 2.5% will be donated. Insure your car with Direct Line and raise £30.00, or purchase a mobile phone from O2 and earn £17.50, and so on. You can shop with 500+ Brand Name retailers and to raise funds you just use the links from their site first - it's that simple!
If you ALREADY shop online, why not help the band at no extra cost from purchases you would make anyway? Please consider the option.
If the concept appeals but you do not relish the idea of committing to another internet account (the account registration and usage is easy and completely free) there is another way to help, also from easyfundraising...
Do you search the internet? Of course you do! What search engine do you use - Google? Yahoo? Why not try bdpb.easysearch.org.uk? Simply by using this free, band-dedicated page to start your internet searches may raise even more pennies for the band. And every penny counts...
